What we've learned servicing pools here
The Kingsway's pool stock skews older than any other featured west-end neighbourhood — many installations from the late 1980s and early 1990s have been updated piecemeal but never holistically. The most consistent issue we see is mismatched components: a 2020 variable-speed pump paired with original 1990s plumbing diameter, or a modern salt cell installed on a system where flow rates were specced for a different generation of equipment. This causes everything to look 'fine' on the surface while running 15–20% less efficient than it could. First-visit documentation in The Kingsway always includes a component-compatibility check so the next equipment swap can be specced correctly.
